Job Summary

Maine Medical Center - Portland is seeking a skilled and experienced EEG Technologist to join our team. As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality EEG procedures in a variety of settings, including intensive care units and outpatient exam rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG procedures on patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Operate and maintain Natus NeuroWorks equipment, as well as troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Work independently to manage patient flow and prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • ABRET registration in EEG is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an EEG Technologist.
  • Proficiency in the collodion method and experience with paste, tape, wrap method.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call rotations.
