Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
- Clean and sanitize patient room furniture, sitting rooms, and dining room furniture.
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
- Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
