Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining the sterile field, instrumentation, and equipment for surgical procedures. You will also be responsible for anticipating the needs of the surgeon and assisting the nurse and anesthesia provider as needed. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with the surgical team and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. **Requirements:**

* Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED
* Completion of surgical tech program, either technical or military school
* No experience required, but one year experience is preferred
* Must attain certification within 12 months to remain in position. Military certification will be accepted
* Must be able to work 4 ten hour shifts plus call

* Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist the nurse and anesthesia provider as needed
* Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
