Columbia, South Carolina, United States PRYM Full time

Company Overview

Prym has a rich heritage dating back to 1530, when it was established by Wilhelm Prym in Aachen. As one of Germany's oldest industrial firms, Prym has continually evolved, adapting to market demands and ensuring its longevity over the centuries.

Initially focused on brass production, the company transitioned to manufacturing finished brass products, establishing itself as a leader in the production of metal haberdashery machinery.

A significant innovation came in 1903 when Hans F. Prym enhanced the press fastener design, introducing the s-spring mechanism that allows for easy operation while ensuring secure closure. This product has been produced in various colors and shapes, with millions manufactured daily.

Despite nearly 500 years of change, one constant remains: The Prym family continues to hold majority ownership of the company.

Our management team is composed of international professionals, reflecting the structure of the Prym Group, which is divided into independently operating divisions and a holding company.

The streamlined organizational framework enables divisions to respond effectively to market needs, while the holding company facilitates strategic planning, economic stability, and modern talent management.
