About the Role

Bridger Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CL-215T fleet of aircraft.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, engines, propellers, and components to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Conduct heavy maintenance checks at our home base in Belgrade, MT, and travel with aircraft to various fire base locations during fire season.
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting in a field/AOG environment, utilizing technical publications and expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Read and interpret technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins, engineering orders, and airworthiness directives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
  • Utilize maintenance tracking software to manage work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers.
  • Perform engine ground runs and taxi tests to ensure aircraft systems are functioning properly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and procedures for tool control and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) management.
  • Stay up-to-date with company training requirements and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and repair GSE used in the field for maintenance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A&P or AME license required.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screening.
  • Ability to be insured on company vehicles.
  • Ability to travel to Canada, Europe, or other international locations, as needed.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations (FAR).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Personal tools required when working in Belgrade, MT only. Company tools are provided for any work away from home base.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
