Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System.

About the Role:

The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography exams using digital mammography equipment
  • Position patients correctly and ensure proper imaging techniques
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification in Mammography
  • 1+ year of experience in mammography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
