Position Overview

The Department of Neurosurgery is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a robust background in animal models related to vascular disorders and a proven track record of scholarly publications.

Research Focus

Our laboratory collaborates closely with medical professionals to enhance imaging techniques, treatment modalities, and detection methods for vascular conditions such as strokes, brain aneurysms, and glioblastomas through translational research, often partnering with industry leaders.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist in the design of innovative research studies.
  • Implement new animal models for groundbreaking research.
  • Apply for research grants and disseminate findings through publications.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of new research concepts.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • A PhD in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience with animal models and a strong publication record.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, reflecting our good faith estimate of possible compensation based on the role's responsibilities and the candidate's qualifications.

Work Hours

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Campus Location

The position is based at the Gates Vascular Institute.
