Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Inspector to join our team. As a Precision Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of aircraft cargo system parts via CMM or with handheld metrology tools. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing First Article Inspections for new product
  • Buyoff product or document nonconformance's within SAP
  • Assisting nonconformance investigations and problem solving/RCCA
  • Internal auditing
  • Assisting Quality Engineering in problem solving, statistical analysis, calibration, etc.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A basic understanding of GD&T or blueprint reading
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Machinist background and/or metrology experience (manual setup, CMM, FARO arm, etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with auditing (Nadcap, ISO, AS9100, etc.)
  • QMS knowledge (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
