Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Precision Inspector to join our team. As a Precision Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of aircraft cargo system parts via CMM or with handheld metrology tools. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing First Article Inspections for new product
- Buyoff product or document nonconformance's within SAP
- Assisting nonconformance investigations and problem solving/RCCA
- Internal auditing
- Assisting Quality Engineering in problem solving, statistical analysis, calibration, etc.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A basic understanding of GD&T or blueprint reading
- A basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Machinist background and/or metrology experience (manual setup, CMM, FARO arm, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with auditing (Nadcap, ISO, AS9100, etc.)
- QMS knowledge (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
