We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer with a focus on Focal Plane Array (FPA) to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the development and execution of innovative packaging solutions for semiconductor wafer and die.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced packaging processes for wafer and die, including die attach and die bonding.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and reliability engineering teams to ensure the successful integration of FPAs into product packages.
  • Perform detailed analysis and characterization of packaging materials and processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Design and execute experiments to validate new packaging concepts and technologies.
  • Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of packaged FPAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot packaging-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in packaging technology and incorporate them into our processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor packaging, with a focus on FPA.
  • Proficiency in wafer and die packaging processes, including die attach and die bonding.
  • Experience with IR technology and flip-chip hybridization processes.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor materials and their properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex packaging issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
