About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Jupiter Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures and assisting with bone density exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures and assist with bone density exams
  • Meet all patient care criteria for mammography, stereotactic, and bone density procedures
  • Proficient in film processing/hanging and taking down films
  • Demonstrate flexibility as needed to maintain the workflow
  • Demonstrate proficiency in resolving customer problems
  • Demonstrate proficiency in meeting timelines for customer satisfaction
  • Maintain Certification in mammography and stay abreast of the changes and prerequisites for mammographers
  • Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures when necessary
  • Prepare and check outgoing patient letters
  • Assure that sufficient quantities of supplies are on hand at all times
Requirements
  • Florida State Licensure
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologists in Mammography (ARRT, M)
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Provider
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
