Water Treatment Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our water treatment plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the operation of the water treatment plant, including taking samples and performing routine tests.
- Ensure proper plant operation, maintain records and files, and prepare reports as required.
- Perform related work as apparent or assigned, under the moderate supervision of the Water Treatment Plant Supervisor.
Starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. The following salary ranges apply:
- Trainee Hiring Salary: $40,189
- Water Treatment Plant Operator I (C-Level) Hiring Salary: Grade 58: $42,198
- Water Treatment Plant Operator II (B-Level) Hiring Salary: Grade 60: $46,522
- Water Treatment Plant Operator III (A-Level) Hiring Salary: Grade 62: $51,291
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical knowledge and skills in water treatment plant operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
