Job Summary

The Hood Technician is a key member of our team at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by inspecting and lubricating their vehicles in a quick and thorough manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Lubricate Vehicles: Conduct a multi-point inspection to identify any additional repairs needed and advise our service consultants and technicians accordingly.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Ensure our work area is safe, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide a positive experience.
  • Perform Additional Repairs: Identify and recommend additional repairs needed to ensure our customers' vehicles are in top condition.
  • Inspect Fluid Levels and Belts: Check the power steering reservoir, transmission, belts, hoses, and wiper blades to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Check Tire Pressure: Verify the air pressure of tires to ensure they are properly inflated.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Automotive Repair and Maintenance: Desired but not required.
  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for on-the-job training and travel.
  • Ability to Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screen: Required for employment.
  • Customer-Focused Attitude: Willingness to work well in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending; occasional exertion of lbs of force to move objects.
