About the Role

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a contract position at an Intermediate Care Facility in Porterville, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial evaluations, caseload management, and assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Administer diagnostic tests, prepare reports, and summaries on diagnosis, prognosis, progress, and recommendations.
  • Provide recommendations for follow-up treatment, observations, examinations, and documentation of clinical examinations, assessments, or evaluations performed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and provide training to employees in therapeutic procedures and methods of motivating clients toward communications strategies.
  • Evaluate the need for augmentative communication devices and provide assessment and remediation of communication needs of clients, including speech, voice, fluency, and language.
Requirements
  • Current CA License
  • BLS/CPR Certification
