Job Title: Wardrobe Technician - Costume Run Crew

Join the Oregon Shakespeare Festival team as a Wardrobe Technician - Costume Run Crew As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining costumes for our shows, ensuring that every performance is a success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains costumes for OSF shows, including assisting actors with dressing and costume changes.
  • Collaborates with stage managers and other crew members to ensure smooth show runs.
  • Models and supports the mission and values of OSF by demonstrating inclusive behavior and creating a safe and anti-racist working environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in professional theater or live entertainment as a costume run crew technician.
  • Ability to read, listen, and prioritize tasks, as well as communicate effectively with team members.
  • Basic hand and machine sewing skills, as well as experience with industrial and domestic ironing and steaming equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard workweek is Tuesday through Sunday, with night-time and weekend hours required.
  • Overtime is required, especially during technical rehearsal periods.

Compensation:

$24.00 hourly
