Job Overview

· $10,000 sign-on incentive along with $30,000 in student loan assistance.

Core Responsibilities

· Execute a diverse range of technical Nuclear Medicine procedures, necessitating independent judgment and creativity.

· Demonstrate initiative in applying relevant Nuclear Medicine skills to aid in diagnosis.

· May be tasked with independent duties by the Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.

· Ensure proper care of patients in alignment with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

· May oversee specific areas and take on supervisory or instructional roles for Nuclear Medicine staff as directed by the Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.

· Adhere to infection control and body substance isolation protocols in clinical practice, complying with departmental and hospital standards as well as OSHA regulations.

· Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.

· Exhibit proficiency in operating PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.

· Demonstrate capability in operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, and PACS applications.

· Participate in annual mandatory training, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.

· Maintain departmental competencies as required.

· Work hours may vary based on departmental needs, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.


Qualifications

Experience:

· Minimum of student training required.

Education and Training:

· Completion of a formal AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Program is essential.

Licenses, Certifications & Registrations:

· MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology License is required prior to commencement.

· ARRT(N)/NMTCB - Certification from the Association of Registered Radiology Technology or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

· CPR certification is mandatory.

Other Requirements:

· Ability to operate independently and effectively in a high-pressure, demanding environment.

· Attendance at all required educational sessions is essential.
