Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical and psychosocial needs, including those with neurological conditions, strokes, and telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, neurologists, rehab therapists, and social workers to develop individualized plans of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of unit goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in neurology and telemetry.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
- 1-year Nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
