$1,610 - $1,680 weekly gross

$46 - $48 hourly

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The School Speech Therapist will be responsible for:

1. Collaborating with school staff to develop effective communication programs for students
2. Designing therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of students with speech and language challenges
3. Guiding educators in identifying and addressing speech and language impairments
4. Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication disorders
5. Implementing regular screenings to identify students requiring speech services
6. Creating personalized therapy plans to address specific speech or language difficulties
7. Working alongside teachers to integrate therapy into daily classroom activities
8. Providing resources and support to families regarding speech and language development
9. Offering training and consultation to school staff on speech improvement techniques
10. Maintaining detailed records for students receiving therapy services

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Completion of the National Certification Examination
2. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
3. Current BLS certification from an accredited organization
4. Eligibility to work in the United States
5. Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
6. Active state SLP license
7. ASHA certification
