Job Overview

KPC Promise Healthcare LLC, a leading provider of long-term acute care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a $65,000 - $80,000 per year opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient assessment and treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through hands-on therapy and education.
  • Participate in family and team conferences to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, perform maintenance tasks, and order supplies as needed.
  • Accurately document patient information according to departmental and hospital standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and certification by AOTA.
  • Current state license and ability to maintain licensure renewal.
  • Long-term acute care and rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to walk up to 75%, stand up to 75%, kneel up to 75%, and sit up to 25% of the workday.
  • Pushing, bending, squatting, pulling, reaching, lifting up to 100lbs, and wrist/finger movements up to 90%.
  • Stress level: moderate.
Certifications and Training

CPR Certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training a plus.
