Job Summary

The Vehicle Maintenance Specialist will work at various locations, performing routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong mechanical skills, knowledge of vehicle systems, and the ability to work safely in various weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and the ability to learn and work in various disciplines, including hydraulics, diesel/gas engine, and welding/metal fabrication.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Manage development of equipment in cities and states within the region
  • Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance in a garage and in the field in various weather conditions
  • Troubleshoot in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance, and deployment
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order
  • Perform all other related work as required to complete the job
Requirements
  • Able to perform rigorous physical labor
  • Requires 1-5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Must have own general tools
  • Must be able to learn or perform work in the following disciplines:
    • Hydraulics
    • Diesel/gas engine - automatic
    • Chassis and suspension
    • Welding/metal fabrication
    • Small tool repair

Physical Demands

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
