Job Title: Recreation Therapist

At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation of outcome-based Treatment, Leisure Education, and Recreation Participation interventions for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides Physician Ordered, billable treatment to a diverse population, including Acute Rehab, Chronic Care, Ventilator Dependent, and Gero-Psych patients.
  • Assesses patients' needs and develops individualized treatment plans to promote leisure education and recreation participation.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in recreation therapy.
Requirements:
  • Certified Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or eligible.
  • One year of experience or internship in a Rehab/Hospital setting.
  • Experience with MDS and Care Planning process a plus.
