Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to join our team at the University of Virginia.

About the Position: As a clinical faculty member, you will be part of our rapidly growing interventional pulmonology program, collaborating closely with other specialties within the university. Your responsibilities will include providing care in the MICU, consultative care in our inpatient and outpatient services, as well as participating in an active procedural practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the MICU and consultative care in inpatient and outpatient services
  • Participate in an active procedural practice, including bronchoscopy and other interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with other specialties within the university to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Contribute to the educational mission of the program, teaching fellows, residents, and medical students

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Completion of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship
