Position Overview
As a Culinary Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering prompt and friendly service of meals and beverages to our residents and patients, ensuring that all food and beverage presentations meet our high standards.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic literacy and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with residents, guests, and team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience
Prior experience in food service is preferred, especially in a healthcare environment, though not mandatory.
Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit kindness and courtesy towards colleagues and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome all residents and guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Foster collaboration and high-quality service through effective communication with other departments.
- Assist in setting and clearing tables, and perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Serve meals and snacks to residents and guests during designated times.
- Support cold meal preparation and delivery.
- Prepare and present food and beverages in accordance with established health and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Perform side work and ensure that workstations are tidy throughout the shift.
- Report any service or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Stock dining and nursing stations with necessary supplies.
- Complete cleaning tasks after meal periods, including dishwashing and dining room setup for subsequent meals.
- Adhere to dietary guidelines for residents, ensuring safe food service according to individual dietary needs.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Handle phone inquiries and relay messages as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $17.87 per hour
