About the Role

Brown and Caldwell, a leading environmental engineering firm, is seeking a part-time Digital Water Student Intern to provide technical support in our office. As a motivated and achievement-oriented individual, you will gain practical hands-on experience outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine support duties requiring professional training but little or no experience.
  • Assist in computer programming tasks, design and improve application interfaces, and perform basic data management and analysis.
  • Adhere to our quality assurance/quality control process.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a full or part-time program (minimum three credit hours per semester) seeking a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
  • Good standing and carry an overall GPA of least 3.0 in your core curriculum, as well as a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Programming experience in Python and experience or familiarity with the following Python libraries: pysimplegui, matplotlib, pandas, scipy.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Candidate must have a current driver's license and good driving record.
