Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Housekeeper to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Lead Housekeeper, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly, and document late or absent employees.
  • Resolve internal and external guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate assigned staff breaks and prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff.
  • Assign designated keys, radios, and beepers to assigned staff and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspect areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met and assist staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct staff training as assigned and contribute to the team by exhibiting professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or lead is required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
