Position Overview:
The Ambulatory Registered Nurse 2 plays a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care by identifying and addressing patient needs through clinical expertise and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Location: Chicago, IL
Facility: RUSH University Medical Center
Department: Hematology/Oncology PBC RUMC
Employment Type: Full Time (FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families through effective communication and mutual goal setting.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect the unique needs of patients, families, and communities.
3. Foster positive relationships with healthcare team members through open communication and mutual respect.
4. Utilize conflict resolution strategies to enhance team dynamics and support a healthy work environment.
5. Coordinate comprehensive care across the healthcare continuum using the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with others in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in document review and data entry.

Preferred:
- National Nursing Certification.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry objects weighing 35-40 lbs and assist in positioning patients.
- Work in environments where exposure to infectious materials and chemicals may occur.
