Job Description

This rewarding opportunity involves working with students from kindergarten to 12th grade, providing individualized occupational therapy services to enhance their functional abilities and independence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs;
  • Creating and implementing tailored therapy plans to address students' specific challenges;
  • Delivering direct therapy services to improve students' daily living skills;
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student achievement;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress;
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to setting and achieving educational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy;
  • A current Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina;
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for students.
