Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting field layout and as-builts on assigned projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of survey equipment, including GPS and SCS900 software, Total Station, and Level.
  • Perform site setup activities, such as site calibration, level runs, and control checks.
  • Conduct layout calculations in data collector, including Station/Offset, Distances, and Grading.
  • Maintain detailed field notes and transfer files between field and office.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to establish project survey control and field reporting.
  • Utilize Trimble survey equipment and software, including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and Machine Control equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related college degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of construction-related experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of survey-grade GPS and SCS900 software, as well as other survey equipment.
  • Basic CAD skills, including Business Center, Carlson, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Open Roads.
