Overview:
Synerfac, a dynamic and expanding engineering and surveying firm, is seeking to recruit a Field Survey Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute topographic and boundary surveys across diverse property categories including large estates, residential areas, industrial sites, small commercial properties, and rural wetlands.
- Perform ALTA surveys, identify wetland and tree locations, conduct construction layouts, and engage in related field activities.
- Supervise and direct a survey team, which includes at least one Survey Crew Member.
- Set up and utilize surveying instruments such as robotic total stations, GPS rovers, and levels.
- Guarantee precise and accurate data collection and documentation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities associated with underground utilities, as well as water, storm, and sewer systems.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Survey Party Chief or a minimum of 5 years in surveying as an Instrument Man.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and manage a survey team effectively.
- Expertise in operating robotic total stations, GPS rovers, and levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of topographic and boundary surveying methodologies.
- Familiarity and experience with underground utilities and water management systems.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
