Requirements

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Instructor certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of patients and equipment.
  • Regular exposure to hazardous chemicals, sick patients, and bodily substances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle emergency situations, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the nursing process and ability to implement a nursing plan of care.
  • Ability to provide care to patients across the lifespan, considering aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns.
