Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Position OverviewThis role involves providing exceptional care to critically ill children in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and be prepared to handle the challenges of a travel nursing position.
Key Responsibilities- Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
- Discipline: RN
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, rotating day/night or straight nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Valid RN License in Washington
- Minimum of 2 years of independent PICU experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- CCRN certification is preferred
- Experience in a teaching hospital is advantageous
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is a plus
The nurse will work with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, ensuring high-quality care for each child. Experience in a larger PICU setting (20 beds or more) is required.
Additional Information- Weekend requirements: 6 weekends during the contract
- Orientation shift in the CICU to facilitate floating within the facility
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
