Machinist - 3rd Shift

Elmet Technologies LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in a 3rd shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, performing machine set-ups and product changeovers, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to meet production requirements
- Perform machine set-ups and product changeovers as per production schedule
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Interpret drawings and plans to perform work in proper operational sequence
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and maintain housekeeping expectations
- Accurately maintain inventory control systems and lot traceability of product
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Able to use measuring tools and perform basic math
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience
- Previous work experience in metals manufacturing is a plus
- Required to maintain licenses on crane and forklifts
- CNC and machining skills
- Computer skills required include working knowledge of MS Works and Excel, and advanced AutoCAD skills
- Additional requirements include good communication skills, both verbal and written, a safe work history, and strong work ethics
