Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Provide clear and concise procedural information to patients and their families prior to each exam.
  • Acquire and document accurate patient histories to inform imaging decisions.
  • Ensure MRI safety forms are completed and reviewed with patients prior to scanning.
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and proficiently to produce high-quality images.
  • Perform procedures according to established MR protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patients during exams to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient and safe imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
  • ARRT Registered (MR) and/or completion of an accredited radiology program.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
