Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by support staff and ancillary services.
- Engage with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring the highest standards of care are met for those with complex medical needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to ongoing staff development and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 1-2 years of experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- Certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) is preferred.
