Job Summary:
Kettering Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing care to individuals with orthopedic problems associated with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease process. You will work closely with the referral source to develop injury prevention programs for athletes on the field and in the clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to individuals with orthopedic problems associated with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease process.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs for athletes on the field and in the clinic.
- Collaborate with the sports medicine physical therapist to ensure effective rehabilitation processes.
- Document patient data and progress towards treatment goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Current licensure from the Ohio OT, PT and AT Board.
- Two years of experience in athletic training or related field preferred.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with varied hours, weekends, holidays, and evenings required. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
