Job Summary

The Direct Support Professional plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our clients. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can provide personalized support and care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with basic living skills, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  2. Transport clients to appointments and activities, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  3. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff regarding client progress and needs.
  4. Support clients in achieving their goals and promoting independence.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience working with developmentally disabled individuals an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with state minimum liability insurance required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: $43,200/year based on 40 hours/week and 52 weeks/year (approx. $12.35/hour).
