About the Role:

Brickyard Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill a Nursing Unit Leader position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents while ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the resident, family, and interdisciplinary care team.
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses, care specialists, and other personnel to ensure effective delivery of care.
  • Assess resident needs, administer nursing care, and evaluate nursing care to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Requirements:

  • Curent license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Recent clinical experience or education in geriatrics
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work collaboratively as part of a team
