Position Overview: Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) play a crucial role in delivering urgent and non-urgent medical care, ensuring high standards of treatment and customer service for patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and provide emergency medical services utilizing the necessary techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient details, health status, and treatments while upholding confidentiality and patient rights.
- Safely operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety protocols and traffic regulations governing emergency medical vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to ensure effective patient care.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives to foster a positive company image and strengthen community ties.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Certification as a National or State EMT.
- Current CPR/BLS certifications.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
