About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wealth Strategist to join our team at Edward Jones. As a key member of our Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) group, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial advisors in serving clients with complex financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning strategies for clients with complex needs, leveraging your expertise in financial planning, investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and clients to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex cases, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to support the creation of goals-based and financial planning recommendations.
  • Lead firm-wide initiatives to improve the delivery of financial planning services and investment solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on financial planning concepts, market trends, and regulatory changes, sharing your expertise with the team, financial advisors, and clients.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required within 6 months of hire, with a strong understanding of financial planning concepts and investment strategies.
  • Insurance license required within 6 months of hire, with a focus on complex financial planning and risk management.
  • CFP designation highly preferred, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or law, with a strong foundation in financial planning and wealth management.
