About the Position

The George Mason University College of Science is seeking a Term Professor of Cell Biology to join our faculty. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position that will involve teaching undergraduate level courses and laboratories, as well as providing academic advising to Biology undergraduates.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate level courses and laboratories in Cell Biology
  • Provide academic advising to Biology undergraduates
Requirements
  • Terminal degree in a related field
  • PhD in Cell Biology or a related field, with evidence of teaching excellence and a commitment to education of a diverse student body
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in undergraduate academic advising or mentoring
