Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time position at a school district. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's requirements.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to a small caseload of 5 students at an elementary school, focusing on articulation, speech, basic language, and support for students with autism.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals and maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current Louisiana SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience and Skills: Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This is a full-time position (32 hours per week) that will start as soon as possible. The school provides laptops and a dedicated therapy space for the therapist.
