Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as a Part-Time Emergency Room Nurse. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, prioritizing the needs of patients and families in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Triaging patients safely, rapidly, and accurately, taking into account physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
  • Communicate effectively with ER Physicians and/or Mid-level providers about changes in patient status, symptomology, and results of diagnostic studies.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, working collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and mid-level providers, allied health staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Give direction to Emergency Department techs, registration staff, and allied health staff, receiving direction from the Emergency Department Director, Physicians, and Mid-level providers, and the Chief Nursing Officer.
Requirements
  • Must be currently active and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 24.
  • Specialty Type: Nursing, Sub Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse.
  • EMR Used: Meditech.
