**Job Description:**

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to provide peer support to individuals experiencing psychosis.

As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing and documenting individual and group activities designed to facilitate patient rehabilitation and recovery. You will work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure a culture of support is reflected in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop rehabilitation and recovery plans to assist patients in transitioning back into community activities.
  • Provide individual and/or group psychotherapy as needed, and assist in providing crisis counseling and intervention services.
  • Support specialized therapeutic interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Assist in providing complex care management and linkage to community services, and liaise with patient providers for collateral treatment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to promote positive socialized behaviors among patients.
  • Document patient participation in program activities and participate in case conferences with the treatment team.
