Beer Den/Wine Clerk PT

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Beer Den/Wine Clerk to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a Beer Den/Wine Clerk, you will be responsible for building guest loyalty and maximizing profits by providing exceptional personal guest interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Education and Engagement: Educate guests on product attributes and information, and provide guidance for specific needs and preferences.
- Store Appearance and Maintenance: Maintain the sanitation and appearance of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Product Management: Work with category managers and suppliers to ensure proper pricing and product selection, and train other Beer Den/Wine clerks on product knowledge.
- Tastings and Promotions: Conduct tastings as needed in the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines, as well as for in-store demos or promotions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of growlers, glass, lids, and other Beer Den and wine supplies through monitoring and ordering.
- Communication and Teamwork: Announce specials and sale information on the PA system, and perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Working Knowledge: Working understanding of beer and wine, including ALE laws governing the sale and purchasing of beer and wine products.
- Sales and Communication Skills: Sales-minded with effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
- Personal Qualities: Friendly, outgoing personality, self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to adhere to all guidelines.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to work well with others, read and understand information and direction, effectively communicate with Store Manager, DSD Receiver, and vendors, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift 30lbs consistently and 50lbs occasionally.
