Select Medical is currently in search of a Certified Hand Therapist to join our team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who specializes in hand therapy to work in a vibrant and expanding community.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and physician recommendations.
  • Implement and adjust therapy programs to facilitate optimal recovery and functional independence.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients, families, and colleagues, enhancing their understanding of therapy processes.
  • Oversee and direct therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the growth of the therapy department.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or the ability to obtain it within the initial employment period.
  • Relevant clinical experience, particularly in hand therapy, is preferred.
