$80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions to promote patient safety and quality of care
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transitions
  • Providing education and support to patients and families on various aspects of care

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will:

  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
  • Develop and implement educational programs for staff and students to improve knowledge and skills in emergency nursing practice
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that align with best practices in emergency nursing care
