We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer 3 to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering sound patient care practices, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and providing clinical services according to diagnostic echo vascular principles.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols and sterile technique.
- Recognize clinical and emergent problems and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Operate imaging and related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Identify errors and take immediate action for corrections.
- Assist departmental leadership in obtaining or maintaining ICAL accreditation.
- Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography.
- ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with RCS, Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS, Certification for Vascular.
- Three years or more of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
