Position Overview:
We are in search of a knowledgeable Labor & Employment Attorney to enhance our vibrant legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in arbitration, labor board proceedings, collective bargaining, and traditional labor issues. The successful applicant will be tasked with delivering legal advice to both private and public sector management clients, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide strategic counsel on labor and employment matters.
- Represent clients in arbitration hearings and before labor boards.
- Engage in collective bargaining discussions and draft pertinent agreements.
- Offer legal guidance on traditional labor issues, including union organizing efforts and unfair labor practice claims.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to devise and implement proactive strategies to tackle labor and employment challenges.
- Stay informed about legal developments and trends in labor and employment law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
- Demonstrated expertise in arbitration, labor board proceedings, and collective bargaining.
- Experience with both private and public sector clients.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
