Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Praxis Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and providers in delivering exceptional patient care.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have recent experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in a medical facility and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to perform various clinical tasks such as EKGs, injections, vaccines, and lab draws while maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) system.
Key Responsibilities:- Rooms patients within 4-6 minutes and ensures their comfort and satisfaction
- Captures and accurately documents full vitals (Blood pressure, temperature, weight, height, O2, pulse)
- Reviews medications/allergies verifies patient is taking all medications listed state medication name, dosage, and frequency
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Recent experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in a medical facility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire
