Role ResponsibilitiesThe People Applications team is seeking an Automation Engineer with proven expertise in robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance our talent acquisition and employee engagement processes. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, implement end-to-end automation solutions, and maintain the necessary support services across various technical domains aligned with our people objectives.
This position offers a hybrid work model and reports to the Senior Manager of People Applications.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Assessing current business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Managing the entire automation lifecycle, from ideation through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of RPA solutions.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to gather business requirements and design tailored automation processes.
- Working closely with stakeholders to streamline operations and pinpoint potential automation initiatives.
- Keeping abreast of the latest RPA technology trends and continuously enhancing your technical expertise.
- Establishing and executing thorough testing protocols to ensure the reliability and precision of automation solutions.
- Creating detailed documentation for RPA solutions, including design specifications, testing strategies, and user guides.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in RPA development using platforms such as UiPath (preferred), Microsoft Power Apps, or Automation Anywhere.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, preferably in HR or business applications.
- Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive automated solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Solid understanding of design principles and programming techniques for creating reusable components.
- Experience providing technical guidance on RPA platform components, including Bots, Orchestrators, development tools, and system integrations, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and pipelines.
- Results-oriented mindset, consistently evaluating the impact of solutions and team activities, and iterating for optimal outcomes.
