We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team for an exciting Rooftop Solar Project. This is a temporary position for a duration of 8 weeks, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $28 to $32, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of rooftop solar energy systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Help with the setup and operation of tools and equipment necessary for electrical work on solar installations.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions and gain hands-on experience in solar technology and electrical best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices.
- Strong willingness to learn, work hard, and take direction from experienced electricians.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Good physical condition and stamina for manual labor.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Fall protection training will be provided.
